AC Milan v Man Utd Betting Tips

When you’re playing your first leg away in the Champion League it’s extremely important to get at least one away goal. Sir Alex Ferguson will know this, as a 0-0 or 1-0 result away really gives the opposing team an upper hand at the home leg if they score first.  However the facts and previous history between these two teams in football’s biggest club competition makes this a massive tactical battle.  Ferguson’s team have never managed to get past Milan in the Champions League; however I think this year that will all change.  Although both teams on our terrific form at the moment domestically, Man Utd should have the upper hand with regards to extra fire power and experience upfront.  Along with this, Ferdinand and Van der Sar back in defense should prevent any serious goal threat.  Overall my football prediction for this game is 0-0 (8.8 at Betfair!).

Lyon v Real Madrid Betting Tips

In a very similar regard to Man City, Real Madrid have spent fortunes on building an insta-team of Europe’s best players, however without the commensurate success Fellegrino will have looked for.  However with £200 million spent over the summer on attacking quality, along with Ronaldo’s present position at the top of this season’s Champions League goal scorers list, plus Lyons horrendous domestic league position, I’d have to go for a smart away win for Los Galacticos.  Probably 0-3, I’d stick my money on Madrid winning with more than 2 goals in the game.
Bayern Munich v Fiorentina Football Betting Tips
Fiorentina have been on a pretty bad run of form since their last Champions League game (where they managed to oust Liverpool for 2^nd place in their group).  Bayern Munich on the other hand have improved with every match, and they still present a European threatening team thanks to their ability to hang onto £30 million rated winger Ribery.  Particularly with the Frenchman back from injury now, Bayern should field an all round prowess and potent attacking side capable of betting Fiorentina.  My recommended football betting tips is 2-0 Bayern with odds of 8.0 at Betfair.
